Kennedy Aquatic Center

The landscape at Kennedy Aquatic Center in Atascadero features a few small lawns for sunbathing by the pool and enjoying the dolphin fountain in the BBQ area. The large specimen palms add a subtropical atmosphere which transition out to oaks and redwoods and the associated north SLO county drought- and frost- resistant plant palette. Extensive use was made of natives, colorful, tough perennials and ornamental grasses.
